Job Description – Accountant
You will work on client assignments as a Financial Accountant responsible for accounting, bookkeeping, execution of financial transactions and maintenance of financial records. Some of your responsibilities may include:
Processing supplier invoices, customer invoices, and company expenses.
Creating new suppliers/vendors, maintaining existing vendors, corresponding and responding to their enquiries.
Supporting accounts payable closing and reporting activities such as accruals and reconciliation of accounts.
Account receivable activities - posting customer payments by recording invoices.
Processing accounts and incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures.
Ensuring daily bank statements are booked.
Following up with other finance teams on outstanding items.
Supporting the preparation and submission of tax and VAT returns.
Reviewing company expense reports to ensure correctness and completeness.
Processing of employee salaries and payroll management.
Monitoring balance sheets and review of annual financial reports.
Who are you?
You are an accountant with good knowledge of accounting principles.
You have 1 – 3 years of experience in an accounting role.
You have relevant education or training qualifications (diploma, university degree, vocational training certificate, etc.). Non-accounting related education/training shall be considered if relevant experience can be demonstrated.
You have decent skills in Office 365 applications – Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
You are meticulous and are passionate about your profession as an accountant.
You have good interpersonal skills and good problem-solving skills.
You have good communication skills in English.
Meritorious Skills/Experience (Very good to have)
Good experience in Accounts Receivable/Accounts Payable.
Good skills/experience in using any accounting software/application (SAP, Visma Spcs, Björn Lundén, UBW(Agresso), Bokio, etc.).
Good communication skills in other languages in addition to English (Nordic/Scandinavian, European, Latin American languages, etc.).
